Medical Distributors such as Cardinal Health (CAH) AmerisourceBergen (ABC) and McKesson (MCK) are unfortunately in for a mediocre year. From a quick look, these companies look like deals trading at low P/E ratios trading between 9-12x earnings. Dividend yields have risen due to price declines to recent highs. They are in a growing field as medical demand is rising due to an aging population in the United States. Looking back at the past year, all the named companies are down although AmerisourceBergen is down only 2.7%.
